Telework

Telework!VA When you telework, your trip to work can be as simple as walking from your kitchen to your home computer. Companies located in Tysons Corner and along the I-495 Beltway corridor in Virginia could receive up to $50,000 to start or expand a telework program. Telework!VA is a public/private partnership serving Virginia businesses, providing telework training and financial incentives for Virginia businesses to establish or expand telework programs for their employees. Telework Centers in Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia. Telework centers provide local office facilities with state-of-the-art, flexible work environment with all the amenities of a traditional office environment, including computers, phone and voice mail systems, and high-speed Internet access. Telework centers provide a turnkey alternative worksite for employers and employees whose work can be accomplished remotely, at least part of the time.

Telework for Federal Government Employees
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the General Services Administration (GSA) have established telework.gov to provide easy access to information about telework in the Federal Government.

Telework Exchange is a public-private partnership focused on demonstrating the tangible value of telework and serving the emerging educational and communication requirements of the Federal teleworker community. The organization facilitates communication among Federal teleworkers, telework managers, and IT professionals.
