Vanpool

Who can join

• Eligible commuters who work in Tysons Corner or commute and work along the 495 Express Lanes project
• It's available to commuters who have not been part of a vanpool for the past 12 months 
• The vanpool must be new and approved by Virginia Megaprojects 
• Existing vanpools are not eligible to part of the incentive program
• Incentive offer is good until funding lasts

Purpose and benefits of incentive

• Jumpstart new vanpools to help take more vehicles off the road
• Help to reduce congestion during 495 Express Lanes and Dulles Metrorail construction
• Provide commuters with a cost-effective option in getting around the heavy construction 
• Save you up to $2,000 a year in gas money and costs to operate your car
