Overnight Beltway closures planned for Tysons Corner

The Virginia Department of Transportation will close all lanes of I-495 north just before Exit 47, Leesburg Pike (Route 7) overnight on Friday, Feb. 3, to set a 250 ton steel bridge girder. Starting at 9:30 p.m., crews will close one lane on I-495 north just before Route 7 progressing to all lanes closed by 11 p.m.

Traffic, bus improvements made at Mark Center

Governor Bob McDonnell today announced several initial measures being implemented by the Mark Center Task Force to ease traffic impacts on I-395 and Seminary Road in Alexandria.  The Governor created the Task Force in August to monitor and help mitigate the effects of 6,000 Department of Defense (DOD) workers moving to the new Mark Center over the next year.
