Access to Fullerton Industrial Park, Costco vastly improved

ALEXANDRIA—Fullerton Road is now open at its new, grade-separated interchange with Fairfax County Parkway.

Motorists coming from Backlick Road have direct access to Fullerton Road, which travels under the new section of the Fairfax County Parkway.

Motorists traveling on the parkway toward Fullerton Road will no longer be detoured to Barta Road. Instead, they can take the Backlick Road exit from the parkway to access the Fullerton Industrial Park and Costco just as they had before construction. The signal at Fullerton Road and Fairfax County Parkway is replaced with a grade-separated interchange.

This overpass was part of the initial two phases of Fairfax County Parkway Extension construction that opened in mid-September. When the loop ramp to Boudinot Drive is completed next summer, motorists will have several options to access Fullerton Road.
