WEEKEND RAMP CLOSURE SCHEDULED:
LITTLE RIVER TURNPIKE WEST TO I-495 NORTH
Detour will be in place
ALEXANDRIA— Beginning at 11 p.m. Friday night, Dec. 3, until 5 a.m. Monday morning, Dec. 6, the Little River Turnpike (Route 236) westbound exit ramp to I-495 north will close for waterline installation.
Detour Route: Continue west on Little River Turnpike, over I-495 and take the exit ramp onto I-495 south, stay to the right and follow the ramp around onto Little River Turnpike east back over I-495 and exit onto I-495 north.
Little River Turnpike motorists may encounter delays approaching the I-495 interchange especially during peak day and evening hours. In case of inclement weather, the ramp closure will be rescheduled. This work is part of the Capital Beltway High Occupancy Toll (HOT) Lanes Project.
