Comment period closed on Mark Center Access Study

On March 25, 2010 VDOT closed the comment period on the Mark Center (BRAC 133) Access Study: Operational Analysis. Watch this site later in April for the posting of the comments received.

This study examines transportation access to Mark Center to meet the existing and future traffic demands of 7,000 projected new employees. Proposed enhanced access would relieve anticipated congestion at the I-395/Seminary Road interchange and surrounding roadways. It would also provide opportunities for transit.

The findings of this report will be used during the next stages of project development that include the Final Interchange Justification Report and National Environmental Policy Act evaluation.
