Meeting Notice: Fairfax County Parkway Construction update on Aug. 25

Stay updated on the status of the Fairfax County Parkway project. Join Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division, VDOT and engineering contractors at a public information meeting from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25 at West Springfield High School.

Topics include:

  • Construction Updates on Phases I, II, which is the main roadway and the intersection near Fulllerton Rd., and Phase IV at Boudinot Drive.
  • Upcoming Road Opening for Changes in Traffic Patterns
  • Maintenance of Traffic for road opening tie-ins
  • Status update for Phase III, the relocation of Rolling and Hooes Roads


What: Public Information Meeting
When: Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010 from 6-8 p.m.
Where: West Springfield High School, 6100 Rolling Rd., Springfield, VA
Why: Informational meeting on Fairfax County Parkway phases, and partial opening in September.
