A highly successful tool the Virginia Megaprojects communications team uses is a quarterly publication called the Virginia Megaproject News. As well as highlighting the progress of the huge transportation projects underway as part of Megaprojects, this newspaper focuses on the transportation management plan to keep the commuters moving amidst the lane closures and detours.

Virginia Megaprojects News is inserted into over 500,000 daily and weekly newspapers across the area, and this time around news stand boxes are being used to get newspapers in the hands of the commuters.

Two boxes are strategically placed in commuter lots at Horner Road and Route 234 in Dumfries, and a third is reserved for the Mark Center. Soon, you’ll be able to find Megaprojects News at even more newsstands places where you commute.
