I-95 SOUTH PAVING EXTENDED TO FRIDAY NIGHTS
Two lanes of I-95 south will close between Exits 166 and 161
ALEXANDRIA — I-95 widening crews are taking advantage of warm nighttime weather to resurface southbound lanes in the Lorton area for two extra nights: Friday Nov. 12 and Friday Nov. 19.
Crews will close two lanes of I-95 south overnight between Exit 166 and Exit 161 from 11 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday. There are no lane closures in this area on Saturday nights. Weeknight closures resume between Exit 166 and 161 Sunday-Thursday nights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Two lanes of I-95 south and the reversible High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes remain open heading southbound during Friday nights’ work.
