Long-term Dulles Toll Road closure begins this weekend

Nearby Dulles Airport Access Highway slip-ramp also closed Friday-Saturday, Oct. 1-2

The left lane of westbound Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) closes near I-495 on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, and will remain closed for several months in connection with the I-495 HOT Lanes project.

Weekend detour

Over the weekend of Oct. 1-2, the slip-ramp from westbound Dulles Toll Road to the Dulles International Airport Access Highway near I-495 will close temporarily during the following times for barrier relocation and striping: Fri., Oct. 1, 10 p.m. to 9:30 a.m., and Sat., Oct. 2, 9:30 p.m. to 9 a.m.

Detour route: Traffic will be directed to continue west on the Dulles Toll Road (Rt. 267) to the following DIAAH entrance ramp just west of Beulah Rd.
